Woman will be woman

Setiap hari, sebelum amik kunci kereta dekat papan kunci, jauh merenung kunci kereta yang tersusun, nak drive Gen 2 or Kancil..

Umi: Afa naik kancil la kecil sikit.
Me: Meme suko naik kancil pun.

Frankly speaking, I prefer driving kancil (manual) more than Gen 2 (Auto). Why? Just because usually, Kancil's fuel is long lasting and the size is small, so, I can easily get a parking space. But somehow today, I was about to go to Post Office and Kema's house, then my Umi called to pick her up at school. I already sat in the kancil. Then I realized, "Weyhh, pahal minyak tak dop ni.... Semalam baru isi... Sob3" And tak payah teka, ni memang Abangman punya kerja.. (Tapi memang Kancil tu kereta dia pon).

"ZAPPP!"

Oh no! Oh no! OMG! Abahhhhhhhhhh! (walaupun abah tak da kat rumah)
Sisi kereta dah terlanggar tepi pagar. Dem dem dem... Istighfar Syifa... Ah, mati aku, mati aku, mati aku.
Keluar dari kereta, tengok-tengok tepi kereta dah tercalar memnampakkan garisan panjang. Waaa....

Laporkan berita kat umi, "Umi oyak doh kea, guna kancil.. Tu laa, dop dengar sangat"
On your face Syifa.

"Abah, Afa tepuh pagar tadi"
Abah mengangkat muka dari fon beliau.
"Hah, pahtu? Kemik ko? Tepuh mano?"
Aku membalas lagi,
"Dop kemik, calar jah. Tadi maso nok tubik amik Umi"

Abah pun berkata, "Ala, sikit jah calarnyo" Aku akhirnya menurunkan siku membuat isyarat "YES!" abah tak marah. hahahahahaha

"Afa, basuh pinggan Abangman!"
"Afa gi isi minyak kereta nuh!"
"Kakfa, adik nak air bandung!"
"Kakfa, adik pulok nak main ipad!"

Huh.

Once upon a time during Ramadan

Bismillah

Being able to celebrate Ramadan for the whole month, insyaAllah, is one very rare occasion. For years, seven years to be exact, I was not able to enjoy Ramadan at home, Alhamdulillah, this year 2013, I am finally at home! Due to living in boarding school and college. So, this year is going to be a blast!

I like performing terawikh at the Masjid Al-Ahmadi which is the mosque in front of my house. I grew up in there. When I was a kid, my friends sekampung and I always gathered at the mosque after Asar to play games. We played polis sentri, lompat getah, hide and seek, and other traditional games there. The mosque's compound is very spacious, so, we declared it as our favorite spot besides the padang nearby.

There was one Ramadan, probably when I was a five years-old-girl, I went to the mosque during solat terawikh and prayed only two rakaat of terawikh then I got tired and took off my telekung. After that I went out of the the tempat solat, to find out my friends were gathering di bahagian belakang masjid. They are playing 'lompat-lompat' from one color of the carpet to another. (you know that karpet di masjid kan ada garisan-garisan dua warna untuk memudahkan proses meluruskan saf). And the level gets tougher, macam main lompat jauh, to see who jumped the furthest. Well, I had no idea why they were playing that game but kids,,,, they invent games out of random things.

So, I had no mood to play along so I just sat there and watched them play. But unfortunately, they became very loud with the laughter and screaming, there was one angry pakcik came and scolded us all. Some of us managed to slip away, but I was one of the victims. Padahal aku duduk tercongok je tengok dorang, pun terkena tempias. weyhehe....

And he said to us, if we'd ever came again, make sure to stay quiet to respect those who pray.
After the witir, there was announcement advising parents to take care of the children and if possible do not bring along under-aged kids to the mosque. My umi then lipat maut berpaling kat aku dengan jelingan lagi tajam daripada Tan Sri SM Salim or Ct Nurhaliza unruk memastikan adakah pengumuman itu ditujukan khas untuk aku. Ha ha

Now, masjid di depan rumah sudah melami banyak proses peng'upgrade'an. The compound is getting smaller due to tambahan binaan-binaan and the best part is, the masjid now have airconds weh. Hah gitu... Eh riyak. Astargfirullah.

Hehehehe..

But still I missed Masjid Semesta in Faris Petra. The only masjid that I'd ever experienced yang jemaahnya almost always exceed the capability of the female prayer room sampai kena hampar tikar kat bawah untuk makcik2 outsiders untuk solat. Tu pon sebab semua pelajar kena paksa pergi masjid for Terawikh. Hahahahahahahaha

Ok Bai. Eh Bye.

A month from now

Hello.

Yeah its me again.
Why am I frequently update my blog lately?
Just because.

Haha

Okay peeps,
I have good news for myself.
Maybe I never mentioned this before, but after my Graduation Day on 22th of June, I have to stay at college for two more days because I have BTN to attend on 24th. That is a sad news for me. Well, I am not alone, because all MARA, JPA and KPM scholars will be joining me as well. Our BTN will be held at Alor Gajah, Melaka.

Wait, that is not the case,
the good news is, The Red Warrior is going to have a final match against JDT for FA cup. And the match is on 29th. So listen, the plan is, I am going to watch the match, LIVE, in the stadium! Hurrah! I should finish my BTN camp on 28th, so, instead of directly returning home, I will stay for a day to watch the match. OMG this is so exciting!

I already ask my second cousin to buy the ticket for me.
Do you notice that I said above, this is my plan.
So there is range of probabilities for what might happen.
Pray for me so that Amir would get a ticket for me.
Well, you know, as usual, we are, Kelantanese, are so supportive when it comes to football. I expect sea of Red Warriors Supporters in the stadium. Hopefully I am able to be there too, with God willing. Amin...

I love football.

So handsome, Jack.

btw, today is my younger sister's birthday. Happy Birthday Kak Cik. Have fun with the course of your dream, Tesl. Wait for me to return home soon, we have lots of things to gossip about. Hehehe.

Diamond in the mud

Bismillah..

This a quick update from my Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Bronze Level.
Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah.
I can't say much more thank you to Allah swt, for letting me through this expedition with perseverance, joy and thankfulness.

I went to two days expedition.
Day 1: Climbing a bukit. And then, went down the bukit. It was very curam and the tiredness of me to go against the gravity was so beyond what words can describe.
Day 2: water rafting expedition. Again, this was my first time. I am so damn afraid yet excited.

If non of you have know this, I have so-called phobias. The top on the lists are water and height. And can you make a general conclusion from my expedition?

This was a remarkable experiences for me. I was enjoying myself. Alhamdulillah. Despite any difficulties, I do not experience any injuries except for my usual skin-allergic when it came to deal with well or river water. My skin got red spots but this time was not as serious as the trial expedition. Alhamdulillah.

Will talk more about it as soon as I got to collect all the pictures from my expedition.
\
The peak of the bukit that I had climbed. Do you remember the scene from The Lion King where Mufasa  walked along the pride rock with Rafiqi and he got to see all of his kingdom? Yes, that was the feeling. Just Subhanallah.

Realising

Umi, abah, Afa minta maaf.

Banyak yang berlaku minggu ni.

Quotes

"if treasuring knowledge would be easy, heaven wont be its reward"
~kalau study itu senang, takkan syurga ganjarannya~

I asked Allah for all things that I might enjoy life.Allah said, No.I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked Allah to spare me pain.Allah said, No.Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me

Random thought:
Tak nak grow up. Nak duduk rumah ngan umi dan abah sampai bila-bila. Nak jaga mereka sebagaimana mereka jaga aku dari dulu sampai sekarang.

Tapi semua itu mustahil.

Tak apalah. Kita berbakti la setakat mana yang kita mampu.
Jalan menuju syurga itu indah walaupun kadang-kadang likunya berduri. Kena lah hadapi jugak kan. Ala, duri jer pun. Kat syurga nanti adalah ubatnya.

"Cinta dan enjoy apa yang kita lakukan. InsyaAllah, apa-apapun takkan terasa berat."

Sahih International
And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination.

 Sayang umi ngan abah sangat-sangat.
