Day 12: Farewell 2011

31/12/2011
Bismillah, in the name of Allah The most Gracious and Merciful
We come to an end. So far, this year had been a tremendous year for me. Not to mention I had the longest, seven months holidays after my SPM examination. And I made them as a wastage. But not all of them.

Memories never fade in 2011
1. I got my driving licence. Both car and motorcycle. Howw yeah!
2.My Abah gave me a laptop. My own laptop finally. =)
3. I spent the long, holly holidays with beloved Umi n Abah. Siblings too. Joy! Joy!
4. SPM result. Alhamdulillah.
5. I bought new cellphone, Nokia C3.
6. I got to pick one place out of three to pursue my study. Kolej Mara Kulim, UITM Bkt Mertajam foundation in science and KYUEM.
7. Scholarship. Medic by MARA. *syukur syukur
8. New phase. Kolej Yayasan UEM, Lembah Beringin. The most deserted place I'd ever went. But I fell in love with it. God do bless. =)
9. Made new friends at Ky. Buddies, friends till jannah insyaAllah, Amni, Fadlina, Nabila, Ulfah, Husna, Ema,  Mas, Jidah.
10. Happy to be acquainted with the amiable seniors at Ky. Kak Adah, Kak Kd, Kak Anah, Kak Aina, Kak Ajah, Elin, Marrisa, Kak Syaza, Kak Nisa.
11. I learnt to be independent by naek bas to my hometown Kelantan from Tanjung Malim. What an achievement. So proud of myself. *applause
12. My favourite, most beloved teacher Norhayati back at Faris Petra had returned to Rahmatullah. I was so sad.
13. SMS Tg Muhammad Faris Petra had been named as the high-performance school. *Happy for it
14. My grandmother, Cik Moh had passed away. Semoga roh Allahyarham dicucuri Allah. Amin. =(

Overall, 2011 is a turning-point for me of becoming a more matured teen. I don't have much time left to hit the home-run of my teenage year. I should think of something that I will able to reminisce my teenage years when I grow up years ahead. Something that will make me smile. I want to live with no regrets. Especially when it comes to my faith.

New year resolution: Upgrade iman sampai ke awan.
Bismillah. May Allah bless me. Amin Amin Amin
GTFO is a mistake, mind to read as GTO only. Thank you. But it's cute rite? =)

Day 11: Back to December

Bismillah.
There there, the closure day of the year is almost here. Say hello to new year! Well, actually we did celebrate our new year not too long before, Awal Muharam but I guess people are more eager to celebrate the upcoming January rather than Awal Muharam. And why was that? You have your own answer, so rethink about it.

Fireworks, concerts, movies, dinner at fabulous restaurants *include candle lights are the ways we, people, human being celebrate our New Year. And I do not mean all of us are in that way. Some, major proportions of humans who are still living in this planet are the victims of hedonism. It is a trend and a shame. Astargfirullah.

Our Lord, The Almighty, do give us a reminder. Sometimes we take them too lightly, and that make us gone astray. Who should be blame for this? We, ourselves.

Al-An'am (6:32)
Sahih International

And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah , so will you not reason?

Please, do give your soul, your mind a chance to strengthen your faith. Faith in Islam. Most importantly faith in Allah swt. You will not regret it. HE gives you HIS words, ayats.

Al-Qiyamah (75:20)
"Kulla bal tuhibbu nal ajilah"

Sahih International

Less words are used, but it reveals a BIG meaning. Sehari semuka tafsir pun cukuplah ^_^

Day 10: Almost there

Status: 3 Idiots, all time best movie ever. I do not watch it till end in tv3, for some reasons I did watch it for lots of time before. So, it is not a necessity. Bak kate Muiz, "Aq rser klu tengok cter yang sama banyak kali tu membazir masa, ade baik nya kita buat benda yang lain. Baru dapat banyak experience." Ecehhh, aq rser dia pon tengah layan Korea gak kat UTP tu kan.

Hey peeps, just wanna share with all non-KYUEMers this cool video. For your information, in Ky, we always have some sorts of videos competition regarding the respective weeks or events. And this one is for Health ape ntah week. And yup, this video produced by the Garnet house was the champ.

Settings, actors, actresses were all imported from Ky itself. Ow, if I was not mistaken there was one part in the vid was taken at Kem Bina Semangat, Kuala Kibu Baru. The place where I went during MYC. Ceh, patut rr aq perasan kelibat Afif n the gang stay after aktiviti rentas halangan tu yer. Brilliant! Grab the opportunity sambil-sambil ber'MYC'.

Enjoy =)

p/s: I changed my blog's background. I favoured white theme as the feature wall, but the purplish petals looked quite nice as accessories *likeapro. So, I think that I am evolving into a matured teen, two months more of becoming 19. Yeah know it too, I am old.

Wordless Wednesday: 5 AlphaSHINE

Alhamdulillah. One bright, fine day.
I miss my class like crazy. =(

Adek-beradek yang hensem and awesome. The zenith of our legacy is on the go. =) amin ya Allah.

I miss our moments. Our laughs, our jokes. This is just the very small part of us. We represented those who couldn't able to make themselves present.

The princes:
Mat, Etok, Areje,Meji, Anah, Akin, Tepex, Piyie, Jebo, Tojo, Capiq, Apom

The Princesses:
Patin, Imah, Mirah, Paa, Mai, Chong, Kema, Eja, Nisa, Cipa

"The world had entrusted us with our capabilities"

Thank you Allah for such a bless. May we will be reunited again. One day. With the GOD will. Amin Amin Amin.

p/s: Pardon to all my friends who had to experience the roller-coaster ride aka my driving. We had so much fun with the drift rite? =D

Day 9: Exigency On the Go

Status: Facebook is a triumphal place for you to waste time without you realising it or not. I knew it for such a long long time ago. But pretend to be an ignorant is who I am. Haizz.

28th it is people. Two days more to enter a new year. I hate it, it is not like I am being a disgraceful kid here. It is you know, when times fly you are getting older. When you are getting older, you include yourselves into many responsibilities. That's make you more matured. Then, hello adults, goodbye teens. What we can do are just live. Live with no regrets, make everyday special. Cherish every single moment in your life.

I had a chat with Kema, my besties, classmate, dormmate, prefect-board mate. Just now. We talked about how we miss school so much. How are we now, differ from who we are during our school-girls time. And we knew, we changed. As for me myself, at Ky, I do not talk much. When I said, not much, I really do. I told my besties about it, and they are just like, "Sejak bila mu jadi pemalu??!" Concisely speaking, aq tak suddenly evolve jadi pemalu but aq teramat kurangkan ke'frequent'an berbual and approach people. Inferiority complex. Maybe.

2012 approaching near. I will sit for my AS exam, so do Syafirie at KDU. Only two of us out of  22 my former classmates who took Cambridge A-level, And and and also Ramzi. Totally forgot about him. Most of  my friends took Edexcel . So yeah. Gonna put my focus up high. That's what Cikgu Ramli always taught me. No matter how many times I slept during his class.

I got an invitation to attend a so-called class reunion tomorrow. Macam lama sangat laa terpisah kan semuanya? Feel very lazy but I really want to meet my friends. Especially would be damn busy next year. All of us.

This is only my lame analogy:
If you feel comfortable to be with somebody or you like someone, you would be very likely want to talk to him so bad rite? *I use 'him' because I'm a girl. Example, why am I watching  Sony Lifestyle TV Magazine? I am not a gadget-lover of course, they are pricey I told ya. If is not for Oli Pettigrew, I wouldn't watch it. Misbehavior again. Apa kaitan dengan reunion? Off topic much.

Cehh, off to go. Banyak plak merapu for this post. Bai.

P/s: frust arsenal draw dengan wolves. bersemangat jer aq tengok.

Day 6 7 8 : Leave and Learn

Bismillah. May Lord bless all of you.

Study table kat KY. Messy gler kowt. But I miss Ky.
There peeps, Sunday again. As being informed, I have to go somewhere today, which is Bukit Keluang Beach Resort! Truthfully speaking, I have no idea what am I going to do there. Maybe some sorts of family-day-out or my Abah will be having his meeting there. I don't know. Thinking about it, why I do not bother to ask my parents about it? Of course I know when my Umi said, "This Sunday we will do this and then...... bla bla" It is not a proclamation but a command. Whether you are willing or not, it is your duty to obey the queen's order. =D

But I love family moments. I will take dozens of pictures with my cheap, junk, non-dslr camera. Can't wait.
My sister and I will be having a clandestine walk in the evening. We are not planning to tell anybody. So, you guys are my confidants okie!

Wait, have you guys watch THE VOICE on AXN? I was so addicted last night that I was reluctantly leaving the couch. Meaning, the show was so cool. I am 100% supporting the way on how the coaches choosing their team members. Blind audition. Brilliant! That's the way to naturalise the equality of person's chance. Without any decrying nor debasing to the participants or whatsoever. Sumpah cool gler dohhhh.....

Till then, see you on Tuesday!

Day 5: Eve

The krismes eve. Am I not going to celebrate it. Like d-uhhhh.
Just wanna say that lots of cool movies on air tonight. Temptations here they come.

Gambo takder kaitan. But these kids are so cute dohhhh.
I am gonna do my work. Started to cringe rite know. Holidays are about to end. Yeah, I know that for sure. Suffice saying, I am a pathetic kid who are so afraid of growing up. I watch cartoons so that I think that I never leave childhood. Back to my sense, 2011 almost end *very close I tell ya and I will be 19 next year. The closure of all teenage years.

*I am being dramatic and talking gibberish nowadays. Just ignore.

BTW, Greg Sulkin why so hot? And he is British. Arrrghhhhhh.

Up to MEMORY lane

I am not a fanatic, big-fan of Korean drama.
But this one had left me with an unforgettable plot especially it came with such a nice instrumental music.
*which is what you hear every time you visit my blog. =)

HappyFridayPeople!

Day3 & Day4 : Busy as I say

Bismillah.
A promise to be kept. And here I am, spending some time for you, my dearest blog.
And the time flew like the cold, noisy river water. They're fast. Very fast I told ya.

I have to go elsewhere this Sunday. Lots of stuffs should be taken care of, dozens of works need to be completed. And yet I start to realise that speed is all I need. And not just speed, I crave for acceleration people!

Distractions, temptations go away. Leave me alone.
*Oh dear, I am not being pessimistic.

Please remember, for what HE asks me, you, us to do, there is no any harm in it. ISLAM teaches you good deeds, and for you to ease everything that you work for. Do not dare to sigh. Your job is to study, just that. And for you getting the remarkable grade, then you will fly. Everything is just in-front of you, Syifa. *or do you need to double the spectacles?

So which favors of your LORD would you deny?
*Credit to Fifi

Sahih International

And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty.

Get my point? Actually it is for self-reminder. I am becoming quite troublesome to myself lately.
Study hard, pray hard.

Quran is the best remedy. Nite!

p/s: Congratulations to all my high school juniors back in Faris Petra which ranked 1st in their PMR. Sbp I supposed. New record huh? Not bad. And of course the teachers are the playmakers! =)

Day 2: Peripheral Vision

"We're soaring, flying, there's not a star in heaven that we can't reach.."

Those words are so untrue. Don't believe them.
We are human, people! Can you tell on how on this earth that we could fly? Unless you are half man, half bird or any other flying species though. Then I wonder what are your genes might be? Are they still would be the DNA with double helix which consists of two polynucleotide strands? Another thing is how would we know that we are able to reach the star? Should it must be trillion miles from where we are? And are you sure that your final destination is HEAVEN? If it is then segala puji Allah diatas segala limpahan-Nya. Lots of stuffs to be questioned...

And I start this post with mumbling. Am sorry for the misbehaviour. Is it?

Things which happen outside the central gaze. Peripheral vision. We tend to look on something which just at the peak of things. We pretend not to realise about things which happen beyond our understanding. Why we do not search and learn them as well. No regret I tell you.

Epistemology

Sebenar nak cakap yang aq revise bio jer =P
Dan sorts of thing which is beyond the syllabus.

Greedy as I am. Nite!

Day 1 : starter should be CHEMISTRE

Ding dong! *Open the door
Watcha doinn? (Phineas and Ferb's style)

Pick one topic, and read. Electrochemistry it is. The basic of all, I am sure you guys know the terms which are anion, cation, cathode, anode... etc.

Wallaweh, I am still gonna write it here anyhow. As far as I concern, I ain't a good storyteller. So, it might be a one boring post. Sorry okok.

Cation: positively charged ion formed when atoms lose electron
Cathode: negative electrode
Anion: negatively charged ion formed when atoms gain electron
Anode: positive electrode

I read about the electrolysis things. For simple electrolytic cell, I am quite sure most of you are common with it. It is simple anyway. Then, should I share about Brine? Ok I should. The electrolysis of Brine. For beginning, Brine is a concentrated sodium chloride solution and yeah it is salt. As it is concentrated, it is used to preserve veges. fruits.

Diaphragm cell

Above is the diagram for diaphragm cell electrolysis of NaCl. The porous part for the diaphragm is not clearly seen in the diagram. But trust me, it should be porous. For the anode, do use titanium electrode (left -hand-side) and steel electrode for cathode(right-hand-side). When the brine goes in from the LHS, at the anode, it attract cation which is chloride ion. As the ions involved in this electrolysis are hydroxide ion, chloride ion, hydrogen ion and sodium ion, the only ion left at the LHS is only chloride ion.  The remain three ions are passing across the diaphragm and reach the RHS which is the cathode side.

Products:
At anode: Chlorine gas is released
At cathode: Hydrogen gas is released

In the end, sodium hydroxide is taken out from the process. Why NaOH? Due to the reaction happens between the sodium ion and hydroxide ion. at the cathode compartment.

Oh yeah, why we are using the porous asbestos diaphragm in our diagram? Because we want to prevent the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) reacting with the chlorine formed at the anode. That's why we channel em to the cathode's side.

I think that's all kowt. Dapat kan the picture for what I am reading today? To write all, this would be the longest post ever lah, so I summarise it as simple as I could.

Ya Allah peliharalah ingatan hamba mu ini. Ameen.

Attach-ment part3

Alhamdulillah
The only word that could describe everything
Allah is the most gracious and most merciful.

I had submitted my attachment's report yesterday and He eased me with His bless.
Thankful, grateful.

What I learnt? Seeing my previous posts encourages people thinking that I was not enjoying myself during those days. Should I make a claim here? That those thoughts in you are absolutely wrong. Why? Am I a person who are always with reasons? Yeah I am.

I am in love. In love with my future career. Now that I truthfully realise that doctor, hospital, people, medications are the things that are in my interest-list. I doubt myself before with the question "Are you sure you want to be a doctor? Come on sis, you will be having the disdainfully tiring, hectic days ahead of you. Are you positive that you want to make those sacrifices?" And yes, I always ask myself. Frankly speaking, if you are jubilant enough to make friend with the most indolent, laziest person on the planet, that would be me. Even sometimes I am thinking, why am I so lazy, negligent? I knew about it like d-uh. But to make a change causes me years. Enough, out of topic pulak..

Undeniable fact. I am going to be a doctor, a charismatic one. With god mercy. My passion is in its way of climbing the zenith of my timeline. Life-timeline should I say. To be an errr,,, whatever your future career might be, sacrifices are just a norm. Bear that in mind.

Ain't being a demure person at the hospital, happy to be acquainted with the MARA College Banting's students, Julia, Syakirin, Liana and Farah. They are so nice and friendly though. We even had our so-called lunch together. Wishing you rock-in girls all the best in your IB.

Was able to be a part of chemotherapy, Electrocardiogram, dialysis-thing and etc of the science-term processes that I can't even remember for now. It was so much fun. All the chats I had with the pakciks and makciks, will be such a reminiscence moment of all. And not forgetting, the eavesdropping moment when it came to the doctors' conversation.

Conclusion, those were the inexplicable experiences. What I wrote here of course was not resembling the real situation. I mean the whole awesome experience. Till then, ta-daa.

14 Days Challenge

Game on!

Rules and regulations:
From today onward, I promise myself to update in this blog about my revision at home. Since I have less things to do after my attachment days are over, I will make myself occupied with studying, revising and 'kiasu'ing. I am convincing myself to be hardworking people! Could you guys help me with it? Condemn me if you find out that I am being lazy. And encouraging words are also acceptable =)

Study is fun! Homework is game!
Good day, good day!

Attach-ment part2

Astargfirullah, astargfirullah, astargfirullah...
Start your day with the 'istighfar' doesn't mean that you are doing a sin, it is a reminder for you not to do one.

Week 2:
I'd been placed at the surgical ward (women) which was 3 Utara. FYI, just after SPM things, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, so she did her surgery at HUSM as well.  Claiming myself as a responsible granddaughter, I accompanied her days and nights at the 3 Utara. #Like a boss
Being quite familiar with the ward was a quite an advantage for me to observe the patients, facilities. Although the HO was not the doctor I knew before, that was not a big deal though as I didn't think that I will approach the doctor kowt... But the chinese doctor (HO) looked very similar to Ezanee, my Ky, Spidey's senior. I meant his face laa. Whenever I saw him around, I called him as Ezanee although his real name was Dr Lee, I guess.

Oh yeah, not to mention, Amni aka Meni had joined me this week. Yayyy for that! I was not a good example to her. I kept teaching her the way of 'lepakking', somehow to leave the hospital earlier than we should, went to grab the snacks not in the scheduled time, how to escape from the ward like a pro *but we did get caught once. Pardon me for my mischievous behaviour. I guessed I had to learn the proper ways to commit on the tasks that I had been assigned for. And when would that be?

Surgical ward. My alacrity of approaching the patients seemed to fade away each days. Reasons? I told ya why..

1. The patients in the surgical ward were so weak, they just did the operation, so they had the language difficulties.
2. The liaison between the staffness, nurses, doctors with me were not happening. I was pathetically disappointed because it seemed that I will not get all the infos that I craved for.
3. I was not being able to sneak into the operating theater. They said that I supposed to have a supervisor, doctor-in-charge and whatsoever. Sum up to my insatiable attachment.

The only thing that made up my day was the chatting that I had with Meni. If was not for her, I would be much more sadder. And Meni enjoyed the food at the cafe so much as she can't wait for'em. I will not going to decry every single things that I experienced during the attachment. I am a lucky girl. At least I was given the chance rite? Syukur Syifa, syukur..

Dear kids out there, don't be like me. Be a good one. Not too serious, but do grab all the opportunities that you see which are just in-front of you and also do search for em as well. Open your eyes wider people! For every single blink that you take, you might lose something precious. Allah maha pemurah. HAVE FAITH.

A Rebel Yell

He said that I would make lots of great friends.
I said never. I am not an amiable kid.
He said that I would love and care so much about the team.
I said not in this world. I hate the team. What they only did were criticizing.
He said that I would have the best senior years.
I said you'd got to be kidding me? Who are going to take care of me when I am a senior?
He said that I would be damn so sad once I had to step out of the place.
I said could there be any joyous moment than that day?
He said you'll be fine.
I said I will never be. I am alone.

Life was unexpected. Those words that came out from the 'I' were totally contradicting from the beginning. Now, this was the 'I' answers.

I made lots of great friends, who were worth more than diamonds. How could I not see them before. They were always right beside me. They were the one who taught me life. They wished me for my happiness. They are the ones that I didn't want to be replaced apart from anything in this world.

The team. Could there be any team that are better that my team, if were not for them, I wouldn't learn the value of teamwork. There are some of them who shed my tears when I felt like a loser. They heard my stories, they respect my opinions. They accepted me the way I am in the team. The gave me credit for my capabilities.

Senior years. Never in my life I'd imagined that my senior years were so colorful. I still can reminisce the days that I had with all my classmates. We developed the bond, very strong bond, even stronger that the covalent bond in the diamond. We loved each other, so much. Should us be blame for that?

Leaving the place was the most painful, broken-hearted thing that I ever did in my life. How I love the place, every single spot in the place gave me the flashbacks of the day that I learnt, that I laughed, I cried, I lost faiths in myself. Those were the things that never escaped from my brain-memory. They remained, I wont let them leave.

See? Did you noticed how much I worked hard to survive. The only reason for my pathetic reasons in the beginning were I doubted myself because 'he' got in the way. 'he' was the mist that I could not see the humungous tunnel for me to walk in. It was my fault for involving myself into 'he'. And 'he' was an inexplicable humility. Blame myself for being that weak.

But today and afterwards, I have HIM. Always HIM. HE will never leave me behind. Did I said 'never'? I mean never ever...

I serve  myself for ISLAM. Don't beg me to give my heart to you. Because HE holds my heart so tight that even I can't help to escape myself from HIM. Alhamdulillah.
Preserve me with your mercy ya ALLAH.

Attach-ment part1

Bismillah...

Signing up as a so-called medical journalist at HUSM for almost one week. And yeah, I will be doing this observant, unpaid job for two weeks. Well, At least I have a proof  for doing a thing, I mean a beneficial thing during this semester break rite? I am absolutely positive that most of the medics student are doing their attachment as well. So, fair enough.

Week 1:
I had being located at the clinical, medication-stuffs ward which are 7 Utara for women, 7 Selatan for men. Nothing much to do, frankly speaking, I just stood and kept my eyes widely opened for the whole day. I even  didn't have a least a kind-enough nurse or a doctor to supervise me around. Well hello! What do I know about something that I didn't even learn'em yet. I need somebody to guide me larhhhhh... Hadoi. So pathetic for an amateur doctor-to-be (InsyaAllah).

Did I told ya that it sucks for being there all by yourself? Yes, it is.  "And to Meni, if you are reading my blog, plisssssss take note that I am dying, enthusiastically wait-ing for your arrival to join me next week!!" Believe me I really am.. At one time, I called Alysha, asking her how she had been doing at the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), and from her voice, I am positive that she had so much fun. Well, lucky her to do her attachment with bunch of Ky kids at the same place. Sarah, Aqiliah, Diyana Adibah and Ikhwan  joined her there. Jealous much.

What I'd got so far:
1. A cool-doctor look by wearing a white lab-coat and a freedom of  wandering around the hospital, entering the private-departments without any suspicious glares from the guards knowing that I am not actually a real doctor. HAHAHAHA *evil laugh
2. I read the patients' file  and pretending that I can read those hideous, cakar-ayam handwritings. Pardon for my sincere comment, but not to mention there are few of the docs who have really nice ones.
3. I kept jotting down all the infos that I am able to jot. Seriously folks, I do not know much but holding a notebook with no use of it, it made your hands cramped. *just a myself-made theory
4. I realised that  one day could be either very long or too short. When we occupied the times with some useful stuffs and activities, oh mannnn  the day are way tooo long. That's what I felt of been whole day long at the hospital.
5. I got to know humans. We, human beings, are very unique. We had numerous of different characteristics. That's what made we differed from each other and special in our own way.
6. I was amazed with the people who accept their fate of having illnesses. They fought for their lives. Especially the small children. They were so strong. May Allah bless em.

I would be doing my part2 for this experience. So, I'mma not going any further.

p/s: 7/12/2011.. My grandmother was rested in peace to meet the Almighty Creator. Al-fatihah. Semoga Allah swt mencucuri rahmat ke atas roh Allayarhamah. Amin, amin, amin.

From a deep,dark ocean

Assalamualaikum.

"Ketika diri mencari sinar, secebis cahaya menerangi laluan, adakalanya langkah ku tersasar, tersungkur di lembah kegelapan..."

Sahih International
And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah . Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing.
(7:200)

Matang = Faham Islam.
~Hilal Asyraf~

Saya sedang berusaha menjadi hamba yang 'matang'. Doakan saya. Doakan Islam. ^^

Indeed, my protector is Allah , who has sent down the Book (Al-Quran); and He is an ally to the righteous.

 Jom, menjadi hamba! ^__^

Return to HIM

Memang ada waktu,
kamu akan melihat seperti Allah tidak menghiraukanmu.
engkau kecewa.
Ingin meninggalkanNya.

Jangan. Aku juga demikian sebenarnya.
Tetapi aku kekal percaya.

Tetapi engkau hilang segala-galanya apabila berjarakan denganNya.
Hamba. Menangislah. Berteriaklah.
Kemudian kembalilah.
Sujudlah.

Sabar,
dan percayalah.

"Ya Allah, ampunilah aku. Bimbinglah aku. Aku hamba-Mu, Engkau penciptaku. Hanya kepada-Mu aku menyembah dan memohon pertolongan...."
