KYUEM: Maaa chaletsss

Bismillah

Living in Kyuem was very fun.
I am a 'nomad' person kinda girl. What that supposes to mean?
Well, if you were to know any of my girlfriends in Ky, you can ask them how often I went visiting their chalets. Haha.. And for the reason above, my chaletmates often complained on how quickly I disappeared from their sights tak kira pagi atau malam atau tengah malam.
Here, I will unravel my favorite chalets in Ky based on my own favoritism and regularity going to the respective chalet. But please bear in mind, I had never remembered the chalet's number, but I do remember where the chalet was. (op kos laa, klu tempat pun tak hingat macam mana nak pergi yer dak??)

1. L-28 (yang ni jer ingat nombor chalet. Kerap sangat kot pergi melawat. =P)
This was Amni, Nabila, and Fad 's chalet. These three persons were the earliest people I befriended in Ky. Nab's room, study table and bed always welcomed me as the second owner of the room. During As exam and A-level trial exam, I slept at this chalet for months. Because Nabuu always complained if I 'berkhayal' and tertido while studying. That kept me awake all the time. And Fad always offered herself to make nescaffe for me. What a conducive place, haha.. I usually returned to my (actual) chalet after Subuh. Many juniors thought I was originally from this chalet. Oh well..

2. Azie's chalet
Azie was one of my besties in college. The reasons why I went to her chalet because she was very smart especially in Chemistry. Usually we will stay up late to study and before sleeping in common room, we will watch one episode of The Big Bang Theory. Yeay! In Azie's chalet, there were Diyana, Amal and Ha. All of them welcomed me whole-heartedly. Eh, ye ke? Or aku jerk yang perasan... Hahaha.. And and and  in Azie's chalet, there was microwave which was used to cook maggi for us. hehehe..

3. Ema's chalet.
I also didn't remember the chalet's number.. But I also frequently visited this chalet. And the reason for me being here was to learn Maths with Ema! Usually I will do the exercises on her bed while she used her study table. And when I have a question, then I will go kacau her. And I also preferred to used Ema's common room during the weekends. Why? because the internet in Kampung Diamond was superbly fast and their common room's aircond was very sejuk. Yeay! Firah, May and Shu Wan were Ema's chaletmates.

4. Husna's Chalet.
Husna was my Chemistry classmates. Whenever there were any unfinished homeworks, I will go to Husna's chalet. And not to mention, Husna is the person who always listened to my problems. The nicest girl I'd ever met. The one who is always with comforting words and nasihat. Aku sangat-sangat kerap ke chalet Husna sewaktu sem 1 dan sem 2. Husna woke up very early in the morning. Like seriously awal. So, whenever I stay a night in her chalet, I can wake up early. Yayy!

5. L-50 or L55
This was Syifa', Masturah, Jida and Aisyah's chalet. I always go to their chalet during weekends. To learn Maths from Syifa' (the most brilliant Mathematian I'd ever known), to revise Bio and Chem with Mas and to revise Statistics 2 with Jida. This was the most kiasu chalet from my point of view. Whenever I went there, Syifa' will be in the common room to teach her anak-anak murid Maths, others will quietly kiasuing in their respective rooms. And the 'feeling' in the chalet was like 'you must study, you have to study'. Hahh gitu. Aura kiasu yang maha hebat. Serius tak tipu.

6. Ain's  and Dayah's chalet.
This was the best place to chit chat. Hahaha.. And Dayah, is the most hardworking businesswoman in Ky. I bought lots of things from her. =)

7. Last but not least Amalina's chalet.
The place where I study Chem and Bio paper 5. Amalina was very kind on answering most of my unclear questions.

So tinggal la katil bilik aku yang tidak terusik akibat sikap tuan empunya bilik
yang suka merantau. kihkihkih,, Entah kali ke berapa upload gambo ni sbb
tak jumpa gambo len. Hahaha.

So, that's it. See, how I banyak berjalan jalan ke chalet orang len? Because I am a type of person, who cepat boring and mengantuk bila berkurung sengsorang dalam bilik. Especially in the afternoon. Mengantuk tak hengat. Hahaha..

Thank you to all my fwennsss for letting be your unexpected guest all the time. I love u so much.

Happy Ramadan.

Hampir Habes A-level #3: What I don't like about you

Salam

I always said that I like Ky. But I do not like it as in really like. So I don't mind leaving Ky.
In fact, I can't wait.

Why? this probably helps you to understand why.
-because I always alone in chalet during weekends.. (I don't blame my chaletmates because they only lives around Kl, if I were them, I was going to the same.. But not every weeks kot. And people always said that 'you can come to my chalet', but I do not want to feel like an outsider in someone else's chalet. You probably don't feel the same. It was complicated)
-I love hanging outs with friends but certainly not for watching any 'korean' scenes.. I hate it when there were always someones in the tv room watching 'korean channel'. But I respect every person interests. It just me who can't tolerate with 'them'.
So sick.
-I hate carrying heavy bags every time I was going to return to Kelantan. I felt like I can be a man who lifts the heavy loads in the gym. And especially when some of your 'kononnya-kenal-sebab-satu-kolej-male-friends just watched we, the girls, angkat barang-barang ke bonet bas yang tingginya melebihi tinggi kami. Well, it was not their faults but they just don't gain my respect, that's all.
- I hate it when after performing isya' prayers at surau, and on my way back to chalet, the walkways will be full of unbearable scenes of the lovey-doveys. I can't even write down what were the scenes. "May Allah protects me from the syaitonirrojim.." Astargfirullahalazim...
- The internet was so slow. Especially when the college decided to upgrade the speed of the wifi. Good, they became slower..
-Lots of the people live in a clan. Assabiyah. They do not welcome intruders.

Apart from all of that, and my ego that said, I do not like Ky that much, I will definitely miss Ky. Deep down my heart, 'I do not ever want to return here' but, this is where the tarbiyah pulled me. Where I learnt that hedonism is one of the biggest problem that our crowd (ummah) are facing right now. This is where I learnt that to take responsibility seriously. Kalau dulu, ditawarkan masuk ke dalam Muscom, I felt like, 'senang jer ni.', 'takkan yang ni pun orang tak tau' and 'ramai jer orang suka usrah' were all wrong. Masih ramai yang masih belum tahu yet faham. They were so good and excellent with their study but they do not even know how to pray. It shocked me at once. But then I learnt that the environment that we all grew up with were all different. Some people were not so lucky to receive tarbiyah at their early ages. And to think about it, if it was not for my chaletmates frequently 'balik rumah' on weekends, I probably do not frequently went to surau as much as I did. See, Allah always has better plans for you, Syifa.

So, here I learnt, despite all the knowledge that you have, there are always room for improvements. Enough is never enough. And always be modest with all you have and never feel bad to share even it is just a little. In Ky, I met different types of people. And I think, I learnt from everyone of them. Sahabat yang baik give you 'the words you do not want to hear but you need to know them' not just comforting words that make you feel happy again. Friends are more than just 'laugh together' partners. If she is the person who you always talk to when you are depressed and sad, and she always be there for you, she is the real friend. Sometimes, truths can be really harsh but in order for you to change, you must face them.

Therefore, if you asked me about Ky, I would certainly said that it is not a fancy place to live happily. It will give you hard times, culture shock, and boredom. But if you want to learn about life and willing to take the opportunity to change into a better muslim, here is the place. You may cry for the fate 'why am I here' at the present, but later on, you will realize that 'Oh, I learnt this when I was there'.

Thank you Ky for all the momentos.
I will miss you.
I think I can write a book about you. Trust me.

Mistake

I felt so restless and angry at the same time.
My body temperature begins to increase. Probably because I jogged in the rain the other day.
And what's worst, I slept the whole afternoon and when I woke up, I felt bad about it.

Astargfirullah.

Gotta back to work, well at least I am hoping that I got enough energy to stay up the whole night today.

Ky's field. And I am a naughty girl trying to cover the water sprinkler with my slippers.
And we'd got chased by the guards after that. Ha Ha

Hampir Habis A-Level #2

Bismillah.

I noticed that I haven't post pictures for quite some time.
Well, from today onward, most probably, I will post a picture of my Ky journey here. The places, the people whom I am going to miss when I leave this place.

I have been here for two years, I am very sure whether I like it or not, I am going to miss all the memories that 'we' had created here.
Because that is one of the rule of creating memory, when you think about it, you are going to miss it.

Today is 31st of May.
And on 12th June, insyaAllah, everything will come to an end.

Them. They were the earliest people that I met in Ky. This was during our induction week dinner and Batch Anniversary 2011.

=)

Hampir habis A-level #1

Dearest, when I read this post, it was on the day that I finished answering my most frightening paper of all the papers I took for my A level which was Biology paper 4. Alhamdulillah, I think I have my made my best. Everything I have on my mind, I spill them out on the paper,, not literally.

Alhamdulillah.

Yes people, when other candidates probably are counting their days to finish their last papers, I still have five more papers to face. And I don't feel bad about it. I will give my utmost to all the papers.

I have not more that a month to leave Ky. I am so excited. But I would probably sad on the day my friends and I have to bid goodbye. However, I really hope that we can all meet again soon in UK. Please pray for me...

Well, I have statistics paper awaiting for me on the table. More post on sayonara KY will be coming out next. Hehehe.

Ya Allah, Alhamdulillah.

Duke of Edinburgh #1

Bismillah.

Status: This post is about my expedition when my friends and I went climbing a hill, Bukit Kutu at Kuala Kubu Bharu. So, for those who allergic to greenery scenery, rocks and height, just close this tab with no doubt. Should I warn you, this post is very long. Do grab some snacks and air kotak milo while reading ek. Hehe
Music: Daylight by Maroon 5

My team, Bronze 9, consists of 6 young, fragile, noisy but yet strong determination girls. We are myself, Azie (red shirt), Mas (light blue shirt), Jida (specky girl, with white tudung and brown girly hat), Tikah (black tudung) and Syida who was the one who taking this picture.

Pagi-pagi dah muka mengantuk. HUH

We gathered at Azie's chalet as early as 6.30 am to make sandwiches for our lunch to eat at the peak of the hill. The journey by bus to the place where our task started was about 40 minutes. Then, after we reached the place, we walked passing by perumahan orang asli. There were so many dogs and they were quite scary. hehe..

What a beautiful day for hiking

The gap of masa pelepasan for each group was 15 minutes. My group started our journey was probably at 9.15 am. Each group will be guided by two experienced men, some of them were orang asli. As for my group, we got Rambo and Bob for our guide/guard. They were so so so baik and fun. Azie said, they were baik and sweet. But as for me they were baik, not scary baik. Dorang macam abang abang sikit, eh banyak. And we fought a lot during the journey. All of us. As if I asked, "Lambat lagi ke nak sampai?" and Rambo will say, "Sikit jer lagi dik, sikit jer. 5 minit. Tak tipu, 5 minit." And how on earth that I walked almost 20 minutes was his 5 minutes. I said to him, "Bang, jam rosak eh? Dari tadi 5 minit tak sampai-sampai pon!"

This is serious. This Bukit Kutu was very steep. It was like I climbed a 140 degree steep hill. And what you need to persevere this task was you should really have enough stamina. Like seriously banyak gila stamina. I thought I had enough but I guessed I was wrong. This was my very first time going hiking. So, I do not have any expectation on how tired is tired and how difficult is difficult, till I tried it myself. Of course, Mr Boler already said, this will be tough, but yes, as I said I have no idea at all how tough is tough.

Jida yang sentiasa lawa.

I think I should spill on this. I vomited at some point during the hiking. Rambo said I drank to much water and yet I did not dehydrated as much as I drank. So, I got a little 'semput' at my stomach. Haha. Thinking about it again, it was really funny, because all of my team-mates seemed worried and they asked me to pakai segala ubat, dari bam hingga minyak cap kapak. I said to them, I am okay and can move on. Rambo then asked Bob to carry my bag, which made my day. Come on, the bag was so heavy, 20 kg! But Bob said, "Eleh, ni pon berat? Kitorang selalu bawak yang 50 kg, tak da apa pon." Huh eksyen. Then I went, "Bagus lah, tolong pikulkan lama sikit ek." Hahaha. As we exchanged bag, I only carried his 500 g small bag. Yeay!

But after enough rest, of course lah I carried my bag balik. I am not that weak. (*nak cover). During the journey to the top of the hill, we (our group) met a sweet old couple, we called them, the mighty pakcik and makcik. They maybe 50 or 60 years old maybe? But the fact that they still went hiking amazed me so much. The pakcik was very cool and kind. We joked along the journey. Whenever we met while we rest, I said to him,"Pakcik, kita kawan dua orang lah. Kita letih sama-sama yer." and he will laughed and said, "Kamu tu orang muda, patut lagi banyak stamina nya, Pak cik ni naik sikit je semput." And Jida will sambung, "Lebih kurang jer kita ni pakcik, kami ni dah nampak lagi semput daripada pakcik hah." He was so cool, that he always said, he let Makcik walked in front of him, so that if Makcik jatuh, he can sambut. So sweet. Hahaha. Unfortunately we had no pictures taken together with the couple.

One of our rest stop was a huge rock shaped like a cobra. When I said huge, it was humongous huge.
Here, I felt like I already at the peak, I didn't know why but there were so many people resting here making me, "Yeay! Dah sampai!" till Tikah said, "Syifa, ni rest stop jer la". Uh.

See, there were so many not-Ky people when we reached here. I really thought
this was the peak. =.='

Bronze 9!

And we also sempat kejar, a Silver team tau. Sampai our guide, bragged, "Biar dorang pegi dulu lah, nanti kalau kita jalan dulu, malu pulak dorang nanti". And honestly I think, what made me still carry on walking and climbing was that I always believed to what Rambo and Bob said. If they said 5 minit lagi 5 minit lagi, then I said to myself, rite, 5 minutes more, sikit jer lagi. No matter how many times they tipu us, that brought us to the peak which was Subhanallah cantik.

We reached the peak!!
Subhanallah. =)
Alysha, the model of the Bukit Kutu

They journey of going down the bukit was much more tougher. As I said,it was very curam kan. And we had to slide to go down. And we had to hold the trees around us so that we won't fall. There some of my friends who terkena duri when holding the trees. Luckily I didn't. But my tapak kasut tersangat-sangat lah tidak mencengkam tanah for the journey down the hill. I fell on the ground so many times, but not just me. All of my teammates jatuh banyak kali jugak. And everytime when one of us jatuh, all of us will burst into laughter. And I will say, "hah, gelak lah lagi gelak." HAHA. It was very funny.

Thanked to Rambo, as he said he was with Mr Boler when he opened the new trail, so, he was a big help. He showed us the way out and leaded us like a pro. There was one time where there was a sarang peringat (insects like bee) in front of us, and Bob got bitten by it, he asked us to used the safer road so that non of us will get hurt. Baik tak? Okey, maybe I seemed exaggerating, but if you were in my shoes on the other day, you would know how baik they were.

Alhamdulillah. We were not even sesat, like D-uhhh.. And Alhamdulillah, we reached the kaki bukit at 6.45 pm which considered early. And it was not very dark at that time. Alhamdulillah. And I have this kinda guilty feeling in me, still have it today, that I forgot to say thank you to both Rambo and Bob. Because when we sampai di kaki bukit and saw Ky bus was already waiting, I became so excited, like "Ohmaigad ohmaigad, bas dah sampai!" And all of us just straightly went to the bus, totally forgot about our guide. Buruk betul perangai anak-anak dara ni. Then, we all felt so menyesal and bersalah about this. Mmm.. Apa-apapun, to Rambo and Bob, terima kasih weh. Sorry sakat korang jer kerja aku. Lepas tu banyak komplain itu ini semua. Hahaha (as if they read my post like memang tak lah)

Well, this was part 1. Wait till I collect the water rafting photos from Mr Boler for part 2.
Bye bye.

Beautiful scenery as soon as we successfully turun from the hill. ^^

We're in this together

Selamat

Status: Dats it, sebulan duduk rumah, bukan study yang makin banyak, makan jer banyak, pastu tengok tv. HAH. Nampak keburukan duduk kat rumah di situ? (salah aq jer pon sebenarnya)
Diet. Tempoh masa 6 bulan. *more or less haha

Alhamdulillah, habis sudah kelas pertama di semester keempat. Kejap. Sumpah kejap. Pergi kelas, balik kelas, dah malam. This six months are not going to be long. Nak habis dah Syifa. Nasib baik semua kelas hari ini terasa macam ada 'drive' and lepas balik kelas, the feeling is not "ah, it's over for today" but "I have to do more before tomorrow". Dan dengan keizinan Allah, moga-moga perasaan semangat nak study itu kekal setia sehingga hujung nyawa.

Pagi tadi seperti biasa, terserempak jer budak Medic, senyap-senyap tanya, "Dapat interview kat mana?" Bukan apa, hanya medics yang mengenal medics. Eh. It is not just about you, it is about us. Tadi, bila dengar kawan dapat 3 offers interview from ucas tambah plak dengan Eire, happy tu macam aq pulak yang dapat, betol tak tipu. Semoga kami dapat buat yang terbaik untuk interview nanti. Tapi lain pula bila dengar rakan yang until now, no news heard. Kalau duduk dengan mereka lama-lama, aq menangis kot. Maaf, emosi aq sejak buat A-level Medic ni semakin sensitif dan hormon pun tak stabil. What can I said to them is, "InsyaAllah, ada rezeki nanti dapat jugak tu, don't give up". Eh terasa macam cakap pada diri sendiri.

Takut. Cuak. Biasa la tu. Bila teringatkan senior-senior tahun lepas, betapa kuatnya mereka. Even, ada yang dapat offer sewaktu exam A-level. And ada jugak yang dapat placement selepas results. Sabar, sabar, sabar. Allah itu Maha Pemurah. Study hard is not enough, you have to pray hard as well.

Surah Ghafir [40:17]

Sahih International

This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

"Pada hari ini, tiap-tiap diri dibalas dengan apa yang telah diusahakannya; tidak ada hukuman yang tidak adil pada hari ini. Sesungguhnya Allah amat cepat hitungan hisabNya.

Bismillah..
"Ya Allah, engkau permudahkanlah urusan pelajar-pelajar perubatan batch 14. Semoga kami semua mendapat yang terbaik.."

Tolong aminkan yer.

Send it ON

Status: Currently at home sweet home. Yeah I know, I'm not supposed to balik but anyhow I'm home. heh.

Last weekend, as I already mentioned earlier in my previous post, Muscom held a program at Sk Lembah Beringin, Azri self-named it as Program Menyerlah Jauh dari yang Biasa. Well, there were not so many students there, every darjah was approximately 20 something, around there. So, in my case, I was assigned by Kak Pah (Ulfah) as the module planner, to handle standard 3, together with Fad.

Our group (standards 1, 2 and 3)
Ulfah, Amni, Mursyi, Fad, Jida, Aisyah, Syifa, Imran, Husam, Ayap.

Basically, we underestimate the capability of bebudak darjah 1, 2,3 and we plan to do all games. Yet, we buat program main puzzle, scrabble, tengok upin ipin, pecahkan belon, sketsa, musical chairs, story-telling and lots of nyanyi (hahaha) And what makes it more lawak is that we practiced very hard for the lyrics and the moves for nyanyi session in the surau the night before the program. Luckily there's no Adib or Ustaz Maliki around.

Alhamdulillah, the program went very well. My adik-adik in my group were awesome, we won 3 main activities of the day and they also gave me a part of their winning prizes and that was wayy too sweet.
They were Syabil, Afzan, Nabilah, Najla, and Hani. Some of them already added me at facebook, well, technology huh.

Thousands miles

Status: Just arrived at college. It took us thirteen hours of journey to Lembah Beringin. The traffic was lunatic! Poor Abangman, as he really want to watch the football match at 12 am.We reached Ky at 11.30 pm. Can you imagine what time will he arrive at Putrajaya? uhuk3.. Arigato ozaimashite!

Raya haji was fun! Family gathering and maen ngan kanak-kanak ribena at kampung. That were some of the reasons why I couldn't sacrifice my raya haji at kampung although the break was only for three days. Padahal two more weeks, I'll be balik kampung again. Yeay for that! hehehe..

Baru-baru ni, baca novel [tunas] by Hlovate. Ya Allah, bila baca that novel, I felt like crying. Not because the novel was sad, but it made me reminiscing my school days. The secondary school days. I am hundred percent agreed with the statement "Hidup kat asrama sangat best. Malah one of the best phase in my life." Rindu nya geng-geng Alphashine, my dormmate c2-1, prefect board, my fellow Hussenians, my batch 0610. Now, all of us masing-masing dah bertaburan di atas muka bumi Allah for our next life phase. InsyaAllah.. Moga Allah berkati dan permudahkan jalan yang kami semua pilih. Amin.

Dedicated to all my friends, wherever or whoever you are. ^^

Alhamdulillah di atas segala rezeki yang Engkau kurniakan kepadaku Ya Allah..
Bismillahirahmanirahim... The journey, again has started

I'm Home and I'm returning to college

Bismillah,
For almost three weeks, I let my lappy laid down on the bed, waiting for me to return home from three *sumpahbusynakmati weeks in the college. Finally, we met again honey and I am  not going to leave you again (bajet cerekarama). I miss u.

Look to the sky and say Subhanallah. =')

I can't believe that I had done my sem exams, Ielts and DOfE trial expedition. It just happened so fast. Well, I suffered during Doe due to blisters on my feet. Mr Boler called our group, 'Blisters Group'. Since most of us had the same 'problem', me, Azie, Jida, and Fatin Sarah. ha ha ha.

I had done lots of mistakes in my life. Really, one of them is what I am doing right now. And I will not let myself suffer due to my selfishness of not trying to make it right. I made a promise, and I forget it. What a shame. Huh. Wake up Syifa. *opening my eyes using my fingers

Look at what Mr Alderson shared on his facebook wall

Thankfully, people are different
There are those who
1. Actually do something
2. Say they will do something
3. Can't be bothered to do anything
(most of us, me included, are the second kind)

Ceh, esok bakal having a long journey to Ky with my bro. Tiket bas habes. Luckily my brother will be driving his car to his uni. So, yeah, I am a passenger.

p/s: my childhood friend aka my neighbor who I used to play masak-masak, polis entri together with is getting married tomorrow! I am flabbergasted and still do, but I am happy for her. May Allah bless her marriage. Amin.
