17 Ramadan

Mak aihhh dah hari ke 17 dah weh berpuasa...
Masyaallah, sekojap jer...

Hari nie, hari yang sangat sibuk. Since pagi lagi aku dah menyimpan bilik yang tak nampak macam bilik, yer laa, baju dan kain bersepah di atas lantai. Alkisahnya, nak donate those baju yang still elok lagi kat this event yang dianjurkan oleh senior sekolah dulu, nama projek nye Baju Rayo Kito. Tu pun nampak banner kat timeline fb, kalau tak memang tak tahu pun. Tapi sumpah cool gila sebab dorang dapat kumpul beribu kot baju-baju. Tahniah!

Ni gambar pangkalan kutip baju kat Masjid Kubang Kerian.
Eh ni bukan gambar aku. Curik kat FbTibang.

(Banyak lah sentimental value)

Umi: Amik lah baju kurung biru tu bagi kat charity tuh. (merujuk baju favorite aku sepanjang zaman)
Me: Tapi sayang lah yang tu. Afa pakai lagi even kat Ky pon.
Umi: Baju rayo form 1 lagi kea? tiap kali umi mari sekolah hari Jumaat mesti Afa pakai baju tuh.
Me: Yakk berigak. =.=

Well, people said, the things that you would like to give to other people must be the thing that you love the most, not the one that you do not want anymore. So, I gave up the baju kurung. Thank you for berbakti to me for eight years. I love you.

And after that, terus pergi bantu projek Sebungkus Kuih Ramadan anjuran mahasiswa/mahasiswi Uk, Eire yang dari Kelate. Kami start packing those kuih pukul 3 and agihkan after Asar. Seronok lah! Enjoy buat kerja ramai-ramai nih. Macam-macam doa dapat from the people whom we gave the kuih. Alhamdulillah.
Aku agihkan sekitar Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah. The most exciting part was when you put the kuih senyap-senyap kat tepi homeless pakcik/makcik yang tengah tidur di lantai simen beralaskan surat khabar. I felt like Santa Claus. Seriyes tak tipu.

Kuih-kuih yang bakal diagihkan

Geng-geng Kelate.
So, hopefully I can join more event yang macam ni. Baru tak bosan hidup. Ni asyik duduk kat rumah bergaduh dengan adik. Eh.

p/s: Monn, aku copy paste gambar mu. Halalkan deh. ;P

From Vietnam

Status: I am watching cerita Hindustan at tv2 right now. Pagi tadi baru balik daripada rumah Kak Fiqah. Alhamdulillah, best dapat study+stay up dengan Amni studying Chemistry. ^^
Music: One More Night by Maroon 5

Malam ni aktiviti bebas telah berlansung as my dad, siblings and I went window-shopping at the mall. and we had our delicious dinner which were seafood takoyaki. I bought new casing for my samsung S2. Yess! And not to mention, I also bought cute-spider-earrings. Adakah semangat Sapphire mula menular?

Recently, to be exact, last week, I went to Vietnam together with Abah, Umi, Abangman and Kakyong family. It was kind of random pon sebenarnya, because one day, my abah asked, "Fa, nak gi Vietnam?" and my answer was, "Bulih jah." And we went there for 4 days, we departed from Malaysia on 29th Nov. The journey on the flight was quite kejap jer. After 2 hours journey, we arrived at Saigon International Airport. Now they called Saigon as Ho Chi Minh city. There was a tourist guide who is a local Vietnam guy already waiting for us outside the airport. We went there under the management from Al-Qudd travel agent, together with my family, there were 42 people from Malaysia altogether. So, it was kinda fun and chaotic!

I naik Air France uollsss! Mewah giler! (lawak mintak pelempang)
Baru nak landed.

Perjalanan ke hotel was quite fun. I do not missed to watch the scenery of Vietnam throughout the bus window. If you haven't been yet to Vietnam, this is one of the info that I would like to share. The majority of the people there chose  motorcycles as their main transportation. You will hardly see any car on the road whilst the number of motorcycles were enormous!

So, we checked-in at Hoang Gia Huy Hotel. The hotel was rated 3 stars but I think it was splendid and beautiful! On the first day, we went to a historical place named Chu Chii Tunnel. I didn't quite remember the sequence of the history but it was built during the war between Vietnam and US. The tunnel was the shelter and hiding spot for the vietnamese. We were having lunch at Restaurant Sri Penang which prepared halal-Malaysian cuisines. Our tourist guide name is Alex. He said, the restaurant before was chose as the one of the halal restaurant in Rasa Halal Vietnam hosted by Farah Anuar. The meals were delicious like seriously sodapp! At night, we walked to the night market which was not far from our hotel. Surveying items and prices as there were lots of the same things sold at different places. Therefore, we have to be smart. My brother and I learnt quickly about the rate and currency, because most of the time we probably will use the local money and US dollar.
Jln masuk ke Chu chii Tunnel. Kecik giler lubang tuu.
Askar tu bajet cute. Huh.
Rasa halal Vietnam! Yum!
On the second day, we went to Muslim Village. The Village was quite isolated and small. There was a small mosque in the middle of the village for the muslims to solat berjemaah and the children to belajar mengaji. Alang-alang dah pergi Muslim Village, we dropped by at a house selling loads of handmade-telekung and baju kurung. The telekung was very pretty, I bought one for myself and 2 pasang baju kurung. Hehehe... For  the telekung to be only RM 50 each, it considered as very cheap.
Masjid dekat Muslim Village

The fun was added to the trip as we were taken taken to Mekong River to enjoy a speed-boat ride and sampan ride. I enjoyed watching scenic view along the river. Weolls kemudiannya singgah di pulau across the main land. There, we were able to watch the local people processing coconut candy. My eyes caught a glimpse of a beautiful shoulder bag! Only 10 USD, I quickly grabbed two bags for my sister and I. Sooo baik of me. =P Then we singgah dekat kedai-kampung-style-looked, to enjoy our honey-tea and they even have performance. It was very lucuuu to hear they sang traditional malay songs for us, they sounded like melayu-siam. But nice effort weh! The joy was felt again when I had a chance to enjoy sampan ride by local people. They were so poor that most of the villagers earned money by mendayung sampan for the tourist saban hari. Some of them were pretty ladies and strong men. If they want, they can become actors or actresses. We tipped them by 30000 Viet Dong.
View from the boat
Ntah pape laa dorang jual ni. Snap jer.
We olls beratur dengan gigihnya sbb nak naek sampan
Sampan telah didayung. Dalam perjalanan nak gi restoran
halal.

Then again, the night market and the pasar-liked market that I forgot the name. They were sorgaa for tourists who adore shopping. My mom was included. Basically, we bought souvenirs for our family and friends back in Malaysia. My mom bought kain-sutera Vietnam, hand-made shoes and t-shirts. What I bought? Hehehe,,, I bought for myself a pair of converse shoes after bargaining, sold by only 12 USD! Other than that, keychains, girly-hat (mengada gila) and hard-rock cafe t-shirt. Sumpah klu pandai bargaining, memang dapat lowest price lahh! Weolls balik on 2nd Dec.
Hah, ni dia tempat I shopping.

There lots of pretty clothes there. Winter-wear pon murah, there was a place called Russian Mall. My brother bought leather wallet there. So, sesapa nak shopping bagai nak rak, pegi laa Vietnam! Korang mesti lebih baggage nyer weight kat airport. Haha~

Conclusion, pegi Vietnam best! Lagi best sebab pegi dengan family. I was blessed. I am a happy kid. Alhamdulillah. Kuddos

Ohoi weyh!

Music: Creep by Radiohead

Ow yess, tajuk ala-ala nak menyeru seantero rakyat Malaysia kan? haha~
Dah lama rasanya tak update blog sebab hati sentiasa tak gembira. People said, if u want to write things, be happy first! Because you will not end up write unpleasant things for the readers. So, semenjak dua menjak ni, I am not very happy. Why? Tak moh cakap, nanti spoil mood.

Well, the reason why I am writing this, because my besties-who-was-my-deskmate-in-school came to visit me at my house this morning! I was very excited. Imah is coming!!! Hehe.. I missed her so much, and for your information she is now a first year medical student at Royal College of Medicine Perak (RCMP), hah, ala2 RCSI gitu.. Jelous2, as she already started her journey as a medical student but at the same time I am a proud-happy kawan. She brought me fruits. Eheh.. We talked for hours, about life, about the updates of our classmates and etc... Basically our gambo cant be uploaded here because I used my camera's phone, therefore I am too lazy to connect the phone to this lappy, for highly enthusiastic enough people who want to see my Imah, you can go to my instagram page.

Arghhh, sesungguhnya cabaran paling besar adalah cabaran masa lapang.

Bismillah..

By time,

Indeed, mankind is in loss,

And for that reason and for the vow that I already made to make this holiday is a productive one for me, I had make an alliance with Amni to study Chemistry together. Tomorrow, our tutor whom we imported from University of Liverpool, degree in Chemistry, sponsored by KPM, our beloved Kak Fiqah, will fetch me at my house and Amni from the bus station to go to her house. Hah. nampak tak berdaulatnya kitorang siap tutor plak yang datang jemput, eheh. InsyaAllah we'll be spending our nights at her house. May Allah eases everything and purify our niat. Amin...

p/s: I will be going to BigBadWolf booksale at The Mines next weekend people! Sila jeles! hahaha

End of Sem 2

Bismillah

Mood: Yipppieeee! Sapa Kelate doh wei!
Music: Lagu tema Euro 2012

Praises to Allah The Most Gracious and Merciful. Today, I had a long long long journey. From Perlis to Kedah to Perak to Lembah Beringin. From Tanjung Malim to Ipoh, all the way to finally arrive Kelantan at 4am in the morning of 28th of June. Alhamdulillah. ^^

It took seven hours journey on the bus from Perlis State Park where my Eco trip was held. Four days people, four days! But I really like it, and will update about it soon! InsyaAllah. My back was really hurt as I continue my journey by bus to Kelantan for another six hours. And there was a story about Husna, Amni and I which I thought it will be better untold. But it was such a LOL story for us. I give you a hint, it took us one hour to reach Tanjung Malim from Lembah Beringin (How's that?) and Amni and I almost missed the bus to Kelantan last night.

Second Semester.

A lots of thing happened which taught me to grow up wiser.

1. AS examination

Second Family Reunion

Bismillah

Sekitar program Back To School (BTS) esok.
Music: Di Siniku Berbakti *lagu sekolah

Sungguh coolio super-seniors ku. Bersemangat kot dorang buat program neh. And tak tahu pon yang from 21th March lagi dorang dah start bagi talk, ceramah kat Masjid Semesta every night. Klu tahu awal-awal, sumpah aq join kot. *rinduMasjidSemesta

Banner bertebaran di sekitar Kota Bharu. Walllawweh!

Siap buat Jersey lagi ^^

Featuring in Utusan Malaysia!
And also in Sinar Harian bertarikh hari nie. Tengok betapa gigihnya para super c-ni-ors
aq! *applause

Here is the major activities we're gonna do tomorrow!

Ada paintball doehhhhh! *ceh, bersemangat laa plak. And yang paling aq nantikan adalah kareer talk. Banyak kowt yang aq nak tanya pasal medic! ^^ Alhamdulillah. The last time event BTS yang besar gedabak kat school dulu was in 2007. Tersangat laa ohsem. Hopefully ke'ohseman' BTS 2012 ni bertambah berdozen-dozen hendaknya.

Dan esok kami akan bersemangat assabiah for all the planned games mengikut rumah sukan masing2 sewaktu zaman persekolahan. Semangat housism akan menular secara bertubi-tubi esok. Huh. Aq tahu. Housist sangat dititikberatkan di sekolah aq.

Apa nama nya dulu? Sistem rumah gemilang terbilang? *dah tak hingat. Memanglaa bukan seorang housecapt yang berdedikasi.

Ex-housecapts pon cam ramai jer nak turun padang esok. Kak Adah (Razak house), Keri (Rahman house), CA (Razak House) dan laen-laen.

Base on my observation in the group farisPetra, I can tell that the committee who organises this event was whole-heartedly dedicated to make sure this event is  a success. They even call-up meeting in KL to discuss about the program. And not to mention the convoy by train and cars to school. *Tabik spring.

Can't wait for tomorrow!
Once a Farisian always be a Farisian.
FarisPetra dihatiku. ^^

You're my KRYPTONITE

Status: Currently at home. Walllaaa..... I knew it just about two weeks and I already returned home. Chinese New Year Holidays maa...  They gave us holidays, why not take it? Letih naik bas for almost 10 hours, stuck in the heavy traffic all along the Banjaran Titiwangsa.

I have to learn how to read in the bus, like seriously! How to make my cerebellum functions well, coordinating my brain and mind in order to initiate my 'reading skill' on the moving vehicles. For your information, sitting on the bus with your earphones stuck into your ears, looking through the window, predict whether the rain are going to fall, hoping for a herd of elephants suddenly turn up in the middle of jungle so that you can snap pictures of them to show to your nephew and eating nothing because you were afraid all of sudden vomiting is a brilliant way of wasting time. Satu pembaziran masa yang NYATA! Especially when you departed early in the morning. The whole day duduk atas bas is a tragic experience.

Plus my time had already wasted when I had no choice but to stay one more night at Ky on Friday which was  very scary because there was no one else in the entire female's kampung except Amalina, Syifa' and I. And I behaved wrongly when I 'buka pintu bilik tv yang dikunci using my hair clipper'. I guessed five years of being a hostel girl enhanced my skill of  bukak the padlock thing. And yet it is still a 'Please don't try this at home and (wherever)' thing. We managed to intrude the tv room with all sorts of guilty feelings. Till then, we sent our unofficial ambassador, Amalina to inform the guards that we had successfully sneak into the room and watching tv in the dark. Alhamdulillah, our actions were legal jugak akhirnya.

Arrived in KB, Kelantan at somewhere around six o'clock. Oh Land sweet Land.  Still thinking on what I will be using the 'baucer buku 1Malaysia' for. And it is a no-no to trade them with money. I will buy some books, and stationary. So many stories to be told, but not in the mood right now. Ps my lappy broke down last Sunday because of the aggressive lightning struck at Ky. So sad, get well soon Mr lappy yang chummel.

Nie gambo kononnya rajin.
Nowadays I felt like so guilty nak mati if tak touch buku and study. The feeling was like the books are calling "touch me, touch me master!" freaky giler kowt. Okeylahh, nak pergi 'membelai' books which were already craved to be pampered. K Bai.

p/s: Nisaa, you miss me?  Awww, so sweet laa awak ni. Meh nak belanja voucher buku Najib meh!

Standing on the LINE

Bismillah.
06/01/12 Holidays are over peeps! In case you are wondering if I will be missing in action for the whole days of next week, the answer is I has arrive at Kyuem safely and soundly. The class starts on Tuesday, which is the day that I had to submit Mr Vroege's homework and I am aware of having a diagnosis chemistry test somewhere in that week too. So, wish me luck.

I think I am ready to return to my second home. I am very grateful for those happy, relaxing, calming moments at home. I guess it is time for me to start studying hard and held up my focus. This time won't be easy as AS just about six months away. I have no time to play anymore. Lengthen the time for study is what I try to concentrate on. But I would not stress myself out. I really want to improve my ibadah. I would work hard on that too. Other than that, I would watch out for my expenses. Although I am not a spendthrift, I always worry for every single penny that flow, as I do not want to trouble my Abah anymore.

Despite being myself, and focus on what I want to achieve at Ky, I want to become a better friend to all my friends. Thankful I am for being bless with all the nice, caring friends around me, who always light me up whenever I feel terrible or empty. Alhamdulillah. ^^

So, this is gonna be my very last post for this first semester holidays, as I am being a quite active blogger on that duration of time. May Allah ease my journey. InsyaAllah. Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.

The place that I am very very hoping to go: KLIA on September 2013.

Pray for me =)
Amin, Amin, Amin.

Day 6 7 8 : Leave and Learn

Bismillah. May Lord bless all of you.

Study table kat KY. Messy gler kowt. But I miss Ky.
There peeps, Sunday again. As being informed, I have to go somewhere today, which is Bukit Keluang Beach Resort! Truthfully speaking, I have no idea what am I going to do there. Maybe some sorts of family-day-out or my Abah will be having his meeting there. I don't know. Thinking about it, why I do not bother to ask my parents about it? Of course I know when my Umi said, "This Sunday we will do this and then...... bla bla" It is not a proclamation but a command. Whether you are willing or not, it is your duty to obey the queen's order. =D

But I love family moments. I will take dozens of pictures with my cheap, junk, non-dslr camera. Can't wait.
My sister and I will be having a clandestine walk in the evening. We are not planning to tell anybody. So, you guys are my confidants okie!

Wait, have you guys watch THE VOICE on AXN? I was so addicted last night that I was reluctantly leaving the couch. Meaning, the show was so cool. I am 100% supporting the way on how the coaches choosing their team members. Blind audition. Brilliant! That's the way to naturalise the equality of person's chance. Without any decrying nor debasing to the participants or whatsoever. Sumpah cool gler dohhhh.....

Till then, see you on Tuesday!

Day 1 : starter should be CHEMISTRE

Ding dong! *Open the door
Watcha doinn? (Phineas and Ferb's style)

Pick one topic, and read. Electrochemistry it is. The basic of all, I am sure you guys know the terms which are anion, cation, cathode, anode... etc.

Wallaweh, I am still gonna write it here anyhow. As far as I concern, I ain't a good storyteller. So, it might be a one boring post. Sorry okok.

Cation: positively charged ion formed when atoms lose electron
Cathode: negative electrode
Anion: negatively charged ion formed when atoms gain electron
Anode: positive electrode

I read about the electrolysis things. For simple electrolytic cell, I am quite sure most of you are common with it. It is simple anyway. Then, should I share about Brine? Ok I should. The electrolysis of Brine. For beginning, Brine is a concentrated sodium chloride solution and yeah it is salt. As it is concentrated, it is used to preserve veges. fruits.

Diaphragm cell

Above is the diagram for diaphragm cell electrolysis of NaCl. The porous part for the diaphragm is not clearly seen in the diagram. But trust me, it should be porous. For the anode, do use titanium electrode (left -hand-side) and steel electrode for cathode(right-hand-side). When the brine goes in from the LHS, at the anode, it attract cation which is chloride ion. As the ions involved in this electrolysis are hydroxide ion, chloride ion, hydrogen ion and sodium ion, the only ion left at the LHS is only chloride ion.  The remain three ions are passing across the diaphragm and reach the RHS which is the cathode side.

Products:
At anode: Chlorine gas is released
At cathode: Hydrogen gas is released

In the end, sodium hydroxide is taken out from the process. Why NaOH? Due to the reaction happens between the sodium ion and hydroxide ion. at the cathode compartment.

Oh yeah, why we are using the porous asbestos diaphragm in our diagram? Because we want to prevent the sodium hydroxide (NaOH) reacting with the chlorine formed at the anode. That's why we channel em to the cathode's side.

I think that's all kowt. Dapat kan the picture for what I am reading today? To write all, this would be the longest post ever lah, so I summarise it as simple as I could.

Ya Allah peliharalah ingatan hamba mu ini. Ameen.

Attach-ment part2

Astargfirullah, astargfirullah, astargfirullah...
Start your day with the 'istighfar' doesn't mean that you are doing a sin, it is a reminder for you not to do one.

Week 2:
I'd been placed at the surgical ward (women) which was 3 Utara. FYI, just after SPM things, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, so she did her surgery at HUSM as well.  Claiming myself as a responsible granddaughter, I accompanied her days and nights at the 3 Utara. #Like a boss
Being quite familiar with the ward was a quite an advantage for me to observe the patients, facilities. Although the HO was not the doctor I knew before, that was not a big deal though as I didn't think that I will approach the doctor kowt... (atas sebab-sebab yang tidak dapat diulas lanjut disini) But the chinese doctor (HO) looked very similar to Ezanee, my Ky, Spidey's senior. I meant his face laa. Whenever I saw him around, I called him as Ezanee although his real name was Dr Lee, I guess.

Oh yeah, not to mention, Amni aka Meni had joined me this week. Yayyy for that! I was not a good example to her. I kept teaching her the way of 'lepakking', somehow to leave the hospital earlier than we should, went to grab the snacks not in the scheduled time, how to escape from the ward like a pro *but we did get caught once. Pardon me for my mischievous behaviour. I guessed I had to learn the proper ways to commit on the tasks that I had been assigned for. And when would that be?

Surgical ward. My alacrity of approaching the patients seemed to fade away each days. Reasons? I told ya why..

1. The patients in the surgical ward were so weak, they just did the operation, so they had the language difficulties.
2. The liaison between the staffness, nurses, doctors with me were not happening. I was pathetically disappointed because it seemed that I will not get all the infos that I craved for.
3. I was not being able to sneak into the operating theater. They said that I supposed to have a supervisor, doctor-in-charge and whatsoever. Sum up to my insatiable attachment.

The only thing that made up my day was the chatting that I had with Meni. If was not for her, I would be much more sadder. And Meni enjoyed the food at the cafe so much as she can't wait for'em. I will not going to decry every single things that I experienced during the attachment. I am a lucky girl. At least I was given the chance rite? Syukur Syifa, syukur..

Dear kids out there, don't be like me. Be a good one. Not too serious, but do grab all the opportunities that you see which are just in-front of you and also do search for em as well. Open your eyes wider people! For every single blink that you take, you might lose something precious. Allah maha pemurah. HAVE FAITH.
