Life as I know it

Bismillah.

Today is 29th January. And I finally arrived at Kyuem this morning. After a long journey on the bus which was almost eight hours, I slept well. Will be missing home, akan merindui juga saat bersenang-lenang di rumah. Hopefully renovation yang giat berjalan di rumah will be finished at the time I will be returning home somewhere in March. ^^

Last night on the bus, we, bunch of Ky kids conquered the second-floor seats.Gegang gedabak dengan riuh-rendah our voices yang macam dah bertahun tak jumpa. Haih. So sorry to other passengers. hihihi. There were seven girls, Kak Adah, Kak Nisa, Ulfah, Mira, Azie, Amalina and me. While the boys were Syahmi, Naim, Ramzi and Aslam. 

Back into the reality, I know that it will be a tough second semester. I am ready. I promise umi and abah that I will work hard.  So, I will focus and stop playing around. Ya Allah, do bless me with Your mercy.

Had a very calm and relaxing conversation with Kak Fisza yesterday. She is my kakak dorm when I was in form two. A very soft-spoken, gentle senior that I had known. Missing her advice so much. She asked me to visit her in Poland in the future. InsyaAllah. Amin, amin, amin.

Movie review time. If you are my type, *what the, I mean a type of a regular girl, grew up along tonnes of Disney movies, have had a crush on cartoon princes characters when you're a little girl, always love comedy shows, waking up early in the morning just wanna stay tuned for a wonderful world of Disney time and what-so-ever, a new movie will be premiered on this Sunday channel 615. It is called GEEK CHARMING.

Synopsis *wiki version: 

Dylan Schoenfield is the pink princess of the upscale Los Angeles Woodlands Academy. She has the coolest boyfriend, the most popular friends, and a brand-new it bag that everyone covets. But when she accidentally tosses her Serge Sanchez bag into a fountain, this princess comes face-to-face with her own personal frog, self-professed film geek Josh Rosen. In return for rescuing Dylan's bag, Josh convinces Dylan to let him film her for his documentary on high school popularity. Reluctantly, Dylan lets F-list Josh into her A-list world, and is shocked to realize that sometimes nerds can be pretty cool. But when Dylan's so-called prince charming of a boyfriend dumps her flat, her life and her social status comes to a crashing halt. Can Dylan win the Woodlands Academy Fall Formal Blossom Queen crown? Synopsis *my very own version:

This movie is the version of prince charming but with the geek. A film geek, played by Matt Prokop as Josh Rosen. Josh who was also a film club president aspired to do a film about a popularity project in his school, taking Dylan as his film subject. Personally I felt in love with Dylan's character, Sarah Hyland's role. She is so funny. Of course, it is quite cliche when a spoiled, materialistic, self-centered high-school popular girl turns up becoming a diva. But the way that Dylan portrayed herself as a girl wanted to win the Blossom Queen title so bad because she felt connected to her mother that way as her mother won the title before back in 1985, was so classic and interesting. She wrongly behaved because she wanted to win the title using her popularity. I love the way she spelled everything she said just to emphasise her points. LOL. I can clearly see the chemistry between Matt and Sarah as they are a real-life couple.

Bila dah tua matured nie rasa macam dah less suitable previewkan citer Disney. Ahahaha~ But no worries, maturity doesn't grow with age. This is only for leisure okie. As I recommended this movie, girls are welcomed. Boys? Tak minat sangat kowt citer cam gini. K Bai.

Every single person should do

Status: The post this time is about my findings, readings, askings the people around me. I spent lots of time for this because I really want to have a solid, concrete reason of making this post. And it is about our, muslims, main ibadah, which is Solat/prayer. Our obligation which we really must preserve, take good care of it.

It had been since forever, I try to ask some people around me on how they concentrate/ focus/ khusyu' in their solat. Because if anyone has a brilliant, perfect way to khusyu' in solat, I really love to take a note. Have you ever heard any words, phrases, advice that went like this "Kalau rasa ada jer jatuh, luka, nasib malang yang menimpa, cuba check balik solat. Ada yang tak sempurna lagi tu."? Because I always heard it since I was a little girl. So, I really want to make sure every solat that I perform, is the best, guaranteed solat which is accepted by my Lord. Then, I started to search for reading materials and not to mention asking people. Malu bertanya sesat jalan yer dak?

"Khusyuk itu ialah khusyuk hati. Khusyuk itu ialah tidak berpaling ke kanan atau ke kiri,"

"Khusyuk bermaksud suatu keadaan dalam jiwa yang mewujudkan keadaan tetap (tenang) dan merendah diri segala anggota (dengan tidak bergerak ke kiri dan ke kanan)

"Khusyuk dalam solat ialah hati berada dalam keadaan takut dan mata selalu tunduk (ke tempat sujud)"

"Orang yang khusyuk ialah orang yang merendah diri kepada Allah dengan hati dan segala anggotanya."

Basically if we gathered the opinions above, we can conclude that khusyu' can be classified in two simple meaning. 

1. Khusyu' batin (internal) yang mana khusyu' dengan hati. We present ourselves in our heart with the feeling of fear to the Almighty God, patut juga rasa gementar kepadaNya. Show Him our humility towards Him as we crave for His blessings, rahmat and redha. 

2. Khusyu' lahir (external). From what we feel, we resemble our feelings. Khusyu' kepala dengan menundukkannya, khusyu' mata dengan tidak berpaling ke kiri atau ke kanan, Dan khusyu' tangan dengan meletakkan tangan kanan ke atas tangan kiri dengan penuh hormat seperti perlakuan  seorang hamba. Manakalan khusyu' kedua kaki dengan tegak berpijak dan berkeadaan tetap, stand up still, not actively moving. Khusyu' lahir grows from khusyu' batin dan hati.

We will discover khusyu' dengan menghadirkan hati ketika menunaikan solat. Berusaha memahami segala perbuatan dalam solat (termasuk bacaan). Merasakan kebesaran dan kehebatan Allah dengan mengingati status diri sebagai hamba. Gerun terhadap seksaan api neraka dan keagungan Allah. Always, menaruh harapan mudah mudahan solat, ibadah yang dikerjakan diterimaNya. Dan rasa malu dengan kekurangan dan kehinaan diri. 

There is a hadis which grabs my attention, Rasulullah saw bersabda " Betapa ramai orang yang bangun (mengerjakan solat) pada malam hari, namun habuan daripada solat malamnya hanyalah berjaga malam (yakni tiada pahala)......." Hadis riwayat al-Tabarani, Ahmad, al-Hakim dan al-Baihaqi. Daripada Abu Hurirah r.a. So, khusyu' is vital because pahala solat relies on it. For you to imagine, no khusyu' no rewards (pahala solat).

"susah nak qusyuk dlm solat.nak qusyux lam solat ni mcm tarik lembu yg dicucuk kat hidung,lembu tue atas batas padi.kejap2 lembu tue akan jatuh sbb berat,tapi bila kita sedar lembu tue jatuh,kita tarikla balik.mcm 2 la solat.sedar2 dah 'hanyut'.tapi bila sedar tue,cepat2la qusyukkan balik:)"

Banyak cara nak khusyuk tapi Kak Ainul rasa paling penting tahu bacaan dalam solat la..sebab macam pelik kalau cakap dengan tuhan tapi tak tau maksud.hehe. Doa pun sama..And masa solat tu memang betul2 niat sembah tuhanla,maksudnya betul2 ready untuk cakap dengan Allah. so masa solat tu imagine Allah tengok kita. 
Tu cara Kak Ainul la,tu pun banyak lagi kelemahan..

Simple analogies never disappoint me. And they were so true. Truthfully speaking, if you just only niat that "I really want to khusyu' " it already convey that you are working hard to achieve the khusyu' in your prayer. InsyaAllah, mudah-mudahan solat akan diterima. =)

p/s: There are lots of ways. I know it, you know it. If there is any mistake above, please let me know. For improvement in solat, ibadah or any other writings, I welcome suggestion. ^^

Fortune cookie

Bismillah. 

I have a dream, when I was a little girl. I dreamed to own a cute, calming, sweet little wooden house on a tree. Every evening, I looked below the tree and called upon the cute animals which were white rabbits, tiny birds, and  hamsters. Those animals could talk and they accompanied me all day long. We sang and I prepared for them breakfast. We went to the garden in the middle of the forest and admiring the colorful flowers. We laid on the greenery field and watched the blue clouds floating away.

Once upon a time, there was a poor handsome man, wearing an old, brown-in-color shirt,  knocking my door. He asked me "Why are you here?" I said "Young man, this is my house" Then he replied, "Stop talking nonsense! Wake up, and study girl!"

Fine, I awoke. Happy? ^^
